Cheeky
One of New York's most cherished punk rock bands, CHEEKY crashed the local Brooklyn scene in 2007 with their ferocious yet intricate live performances. Lyrically they championed the little guy; with songs about being pushed around at shows, being outside the boys-only club that is hardcore punk, and of course just waking up in a bad mood and hating the world. The snottiness of their delivery is endearing, and CHEEKY rapidly became everyone's favorite new NYC band. The best of pop punk can be heard in Cheeky (Descendents, Muffs, Sicko) as well as hard-edged more riff oriented rock and roll.
They come to the Fest this year in support of their new 12" "WHAT THE HECK" and rumors have been indicating the end for CHEEKY. This may be their last appearance at the Fest, so dance twice as hard ..."
