Once again the FEST is opening the FEST FLEA MARKET. It is not your typical FLEA though. Well, more like a FEST DIRT MALL..
Set up in trade show fashion you have rows of tabling. The past three years, we've had a ton of labels that set up, and well, sold a ton of stuff as well as drank a bunch of cold ones, gave hugs, and probably gave away more than they sold. We also had people with tattoo parlors, screen prints, water pipes, design companies, clothing lines, artwork, etc. We also gave some spots to charities and non-profits we care about. This year we expect more of the same.
Located inside the main conference center of the Official FEST 11 Hotel (University Holiday Inn) located across the street from Leonardo's by the Slice. This is also the same room where FEST 11 registration will be held, so you will have an opportunity to set up your label, distro, artwork, clothing company and expose your junk to all the FEST 11 attendees, bands, guests, volunteers, and the general Gainesville public. Everyone who has anything to do with FEST 11 will have the chance to check out your junk or just be able to find you to bring you for a hug and hi-five.
So, if you make some cool art and farts and crafts? Have some records you care about selling or maybe you just want to hype up your website, magazine, or just put on a ye ole drinkin' display then this is the affordable opportunity for you!!!
Here is how it works. We will have THE FEST 11 FLEA MARKET open from noon-7pm on Friday October 26th. NO SATURDAY THIS YEAR!!!
Like I mentioned before, the location will be at the OFFICIAL FEST 11 HOTEL. This will also be the same area as FEST 11 registration - so everyone who attends FEST 11 will be within feet of your table. How can you pass this opportunity up?
Here is the only catch. We only have 40 full table spots to set up. Last year we filled up quickly so don't delay!!!
(Half table) - 3'x2.5' table space - $100
(Full table) - 6'x2.5' table space - $200
