Few things I wanna say...

* Wouldn't be surprised if next Fest, the line at registration went to the Chevron across from Mother's.
* Bringing a folding chair to said line wouldn't be a bad idea.
* I swear I saw people behind me in line trying to get high off balloons.
* Hadn't seen the Holy Mountain in like five years...was glad to see they can still tear it up.
* Worthwhile Way was a pleasant surprise.
* The line for the Bouncing Souls/Hot Water Music/Kid Dynamite was stupid long.
* Next year...no walkin' from the Fest to Backstage Lounge.
* Missing a day of Fest because of sore feet kinda stinks.
* Hanging out at Mars Pub again and going to Stubbies for the first time definitely helped kill time before the Florida Theater show on Sunday.
* Perhaps it's not always good to check how much money you got in public.
* Sorta weak to need a wristband just to use the ATM.
* Ducking outta Fest early cause of hunger and fatigue also stinks.

And that's all I got to say...what about the rest of you guys?

After four Fests, I finally got smart and bought fancy ear plugs and shoe inserts. Oh my word, I cannot say enough about the inserts. My feet were still tired by the end of the weekend, but nowhere near as painful as they normally are. And Friday night around 2 a.m. they still felt great. I got Dr. Scholls 16-hour women's inserts for about $12 at CVS (you can get a $2 coupon online). Worth every penny.

- Tim Barry, Cobra Skulls, The Riot Before, Blacklist Royals, and The Flatliners were awesome (as usual)
- I was really hoping Chuck Ragan and Jon Gaunt were a Mystery Band. That was kind of disappointing, but I'll live.
- This was the first year I saw Underground Railroad to Candyland and they were pretty fun.
- Kyle Kinane was hilarious. I missed his bit about crusties and it would be killer if someone would post it online. Sitting down for 30 min was nice, too.
- I missed Tiltwheel twice (still haven't seen them) because of lines, and that sucked.
- Also didn't realize the Flea Market was only open Friday so I missed my chance to buy mad amounts of posters.
- Saw more bands this year than I ever have.
- Polar Bear Club's set at 8 Seconds was ridiculous. I'm not even all that into post-hardcore, but they were incredible.
- Good stuff all around, thanks Fest folks!!

I left Touche Amore a little early and went straight to Bouncing Souls and there was no one in line lol. I walked right in.

There was a rumor local metal band Dopamean would have a reunion of sorts. But then I realized my feet couldn't handle the wait so unfortunately, had to call for a ride home. Man, some bands just shouldn't think of setting up shows during Fest...
