oh, wait, you don't really need to get stuff in Gainesville, right? Just in the US in general. where are you flying into? that makes a big difference. You could always make an order through www.musiciansfriend.com or something like that and have it shipped to gainesville.

There's also a place off of 34th and university but I dont know what it's called at the moment. I'll edit this later with the name of it.

I believe Tim and Terry's will be closed by then. There is Lipham's on W University and 34th St. They are really the only ones that carry much of anything these day but that isn't saying a lot. There are also a ton of pawn shops where you can find decent instruments for far cheaper. If you have anything you need specifically in mind I will keep an eye out.
