I know there is already a general Gville Alky thread, but I want this one to have a more specific focus. We should try to get a group together of guys who love finely crafted beer almost as much as punk rock.
I say we all meet up at a specific time and place. First, we can swap regionally distributed beers and homebrew. Then, we can all go to The Alcove. Unfortunately, they don't have a site up yet, and I haven't been yet, but I will go soon, and I have heard good things from several sources. Then we can all stumble over to Stubbies, which has great selection, but is a bit pricey, so probably we just pick out one really interesting beer each there. Depending on what time it is, and our tolerances, maybe we also hit Marketstreet Pub or some other brewpub.
let's vote on a time-
Thursday around 6:00? Friday around 1:00? Monday around 2:00? other suggestions?

I would do this. I have been to the Alcove. It is tiny but has a good selection. Market Street's homebrews are hit or miss but I would still be willing to give that a whirl.

This year if anyone would like me to bring 40 oz beers from areas of the country that aren't FL, let me know in advance.
I will be drinking pint cans, unless I can find PBR 40s.
Shit, I'm going to call the PBR distributor right now....

Shit, I'm going to call the PBR distributor right now.... So you're coming? I have an EP coming out in October, and Fest is the best chance I'll have all year to promote it. Also, seeing Ampere again is a requirement, and I'm still holding out hope that more bands will be announced and make my heart grow a few sizes.
