I don't think it will affect the Fest at all, but someone please confirm. I believe time doesn't change until midnight (or 2am?) Sunday, Nov 2nd. This stuff always confuses me though.

Interesting note about DST and Florida:

Daylight time is less useful in Florida than in many other states because of its southern location. There is opposition to DST in Florida. In March 2008, Florida state senator Bill Posey introduced a bill in the Florida legislature to abolish daylight time in the state and keep Florida on year-round standard time. Because Florida is in two time zones, the Florida legislature has the option of returning all or part of the state to standard time along time zone boundaries.

At 2am Sunday morning it will switch to 1am. Venues can't stay open later, not sure about beer stores.

All I'm saying is that I'd like to see him say that to the sun's face. You know?

So, there's the possibility that stores can sell beer an hour later? That would be crucial- get out of the shows, hang out for a while, and then still have plenty of time to go get beer....

that would make life definitly easier, if the stores would have open longer, just hope to catch a word of a house show where to drink then.. or are there any other spots, people go to meet up after the shows are done?

Wait this always confuses me, so does that mean we get an extra hour of daylight, or an hour less?

More light in the morning, an hour less at night.
