I too will be arriving in Gainesville on Tuesday. I plan to take a couple of days just wandering around and relaxing before Fest. If anyone is down for some mellow drinking and eats before the big weekend, drop me a line.

im hoping to meet some of you fine folks at the 1982 show on thursday, i wont be able to make the tuesday meetup. im already going to be in town wednesday for the Fest volunteer meeting and then on thursday for the prefest show. almost seems pointless to go home until monday lol! damn that might be a plan.

No it's not! Mike, some of us will be around Wednesday, though I have no idea where or anything.

Yeah dude, I haven't got a clue about whats on on Wednesday night, apparently there's a Fest voluteers meeting on the night that the Gainesville natives will be off to. Don't think there's a show on. Isn't there like a videogame night at the 1982 on a Wed? Could be cool.
Either way we should get summin sorted.

Last year there was a show at Wayward on the Wednesday but I can't remember anyone other than Paul Baribeau playing. I seem to remember that other than that the town was pretty quiet as everyone was in Tampa I think.

I guess that means it's down to us to ensure that it's not quiet this time around.

I don't think we'll struggle with that.

wednesday night I usually just go to Market St. for mug night ($10 unlimited drinks in my cheap plastic $5 mug I got awhile ago), once I get kicked out at 2am I stumble to five star, ramble about things with the people outside (there is always people outside at that time) and somehow make it home

next Wednesday though I'll be in Tampa
with the rest of the cool kids
