I moved this to the House Shows sub-forum where it seems to be more appropriate.
I'm thinking you'll get a few hundred replies/calls.

i'm going to confirm this when i go into work today, but i'm pretty sure one of the managers from my job does piano cover sets there occasionally - with one coming up this weekend.

The Original Pizza Palace has a long (and occasionally sordid) history dating back to 1953, when I was just a twinkie in my dad's eye.
Although I might be biased, I'd say OPP would be a great place to play an acoustic set , drink some beers (we've got 420, Blue Moon, and Stella on tap!) and have some fresher than fresh dope fly pizza. But don't take my word for it, come on in and find out for yourself!

I might scope some dope fly pizza. But I can live without the bad hipster beer.

Agreed, Gville is seriously lacking house show locations right now.

I heard this too, but you know how old farts are always reminiscing about the old days and how much better they were....could be a case of that.

Seems like a cool place to me, though I can't compare it to any of its previous incarnations.
Better place to do a show than El Indio, anyhow, though I'd love to see someone try that.
