My job is kinda up in the air and other general chaos. I haven't gone out in weeks because of it. Trying to figure out what I'm going to do w/my life. Blah, blah, blah.

No it wasn't that guy.

But yes, he has the same name. And hangs out w/the same guys.

I wasn't about to post a link to his profile here though. I've got enough issues w/him as it is. That's why i just posted the link to the bloody pic.

what is with Gainesville and good photographers?
you got a better chance finding a photographer boyfriend then I do finding a videographer/editor girlfriend. I don't think I've ever met or heard of one.

This sounds awesome on paper, but what actually happens if you're anything like me and my bf (both designers) - you overextend yourself with little projects all the time. But actually my bf and I are sharing a freelance gig right now, so we get to work together some.

Anywho, you're better off finding a lady that likes to go to most of the same shows as you. Plus, then you don't have to actually talk to her.

I kid.

I had a photographer boyfriend once. It was awesome shooting together, or just letting him shoot for a change. We shared a lot of the same interests but shot very different so we learned from one another.

But some couples are never meant to work together.

Jeremy, it is possible. I know girls like that. Finding one in the Gville area is another task though. It's like me finding a single male photographer there over 20.

Trying to mosh hard, but no one was moshing with him, he was just throwing people around and acting a prick.

was he big?

he was buff, but not really tall. was that you?

Tony Vargas posted his photos from the show up. They are fantastic. Shooting at the Atlantic is really tough with the weird lighting and that damn metallic backdrop. I think I figured out what he did to them is PhotoShop to couteract that, and I approve.

the Atlantic lighting is bad but 1982 is definitely my least favorite to film at in Gainesville due to their love of red

nothing is worse than jackrabbits in Jacksonville though, it's just the sound guy who hits random buttons on the light board for whatever he thinks is cool. at one point he turned EVERYTHING to red.....

haha no that wasn't me. i hate when people bigger than you push you around. most of the time if you step up right back to them, they'll chill out, but sometimes they don't, and them motherfuckers get hurt. that being said, i've only been in a few fights in my lift, and i hope to keep it that way.

besides, i'd rather just have a beer than a knuckle sandwich

Yeah, I pretty much hate shooting at 1982 even more. All my photos are red or just straight up standard boring flash. Except when the band has lots of their own lights like Jucifer, then the show/photos are so much better:

I keep reading this thread title 'As Friends Rut' - which I'm not sure I'm so into seeing.
