We had some hiccups with our new credit card processing company this morning. Help me get the word out Fest boarders:

Apparently our payment gateway was configured to be strict with international transactions. We have changed the settings. Hopefully that should fix the getting declined problem for international folks.

Some peoples banks are putting holds on pending transactions waiting approval from us. The only way to solve this is to tell them to cancel the pending transactions, release your funds and submit your order gain.

We are really sorry for all the hiccups today. Pretty much everything has been out of our control but we're trying to deal with it the best we can. Should be alot smoothing sailing from here on out.

If you got the confirmation you are cool. This is just for people that were having problems with getting declined.

Well. I can't.

Waited for blank page to turn to ticket sales and...

I've added tickets and hotel, plus some merch on first minute that the page finally opened. I've been planning on coming there for few years, since scandinavia isn't that close to florida.

Kept on clicking "submit order" and got - "We were unable to process your credit card payment. Please verify your details and try again."

I'm still getting that right now.

Plus. I had three nights of Holiday Inn in my shopping basket until it was sold out.

Greetings from finland. Guess twice if i'm pissed off right now.

Pretty unimpressed.

I was up at 3am to buy everything and get a room at the Holiday Inn.

Now we an $900 in limbo on my girlfriend's credit card. We were stoked to stay at the HI and are really disappointed that we have missed out on the whole thing.

I got a confirmation email so I'm ok I hope but for those that didn't I think this is very unfair. I know in the past I've had an email from whoever was in charge saying my card was declined but saying if I get it sorted my booking would be saved. I can't understand why those in a that situation now have to re-book. So unfair for those who were there at the first moment wanting to book the HI that now won't get it.

If the Hampton decide to move on price though then my reservation will be up for grabs so I'll offer it to those that lost there's before cancelling it.

My credit card company (Visa Desjardins) actually told me to ask YOU guys to cancel the transactions (2), that they couldn't do anything on their side :/

Does that make any sense?

Pending transactions need to be copied by the vendor. The bank will cancel it if it stays pending for ~7 business days. But that doesn't help anyone who wanted to get in to the HI, like myself, but I'm more concerned as to whether I even have a weekend pass yet. Send an email to tickets@thefestfl.com and get all the authorization numbers for the payments and they can cancel them, provided they aren't too busy with all the other Fest stuff. A lot of people will probably be waiting 7 days.
